Hi,

I purchased this template some minutes ago, I could not resist although I have 2 other cms templates from you.
This time I faced to difficulties when trying to start editing the textfields. I am using special characters (Latin-2, but I am not 100% sure) and two of them were replaced by ?? marks after trying to save the modifications in the Admin Panel. I know these two characters make a headache many times for web coders - which I am not.

I have two other cms templates from you (Robust and ASMO), and I have no character problems with these. (So I guess this problem does not come from the hosting server side).
Furthermore I have tested the online demo before buying (via Templateforest link) and had no problem with those two characters.
I am lost in this moment. I appreciate your help.

I think you didnt use utf8 encoded database. Go in phpmyadmin and check the encoding for tables if you have them latin-1 or anything else then utf8 you need to export the database open it with a text editor and do a mass search and replace for latin-1 with utf8.

So your online demo Admin Panel can store and show those extended characters in question. And the online website demo can also show these. It can be seen that those characters are substituted by other existing ones automatically, but this is another question. I know I have to replace the whole webfont-set with a proper one later. My main problem now is that why does not display those chars the Admin Panel itself.

OK, I will do what you have suggested. However, before I had no poblems like this now when creating the SQL database. Everything was done automatically and finally all chars were OK. My host provides MySql services and I just went through the automatic installation procedure with your Robust and ASMO template.

May I ask you something? Do I have to change maybe something in the install files you provided? I mean before doing the whole installation. (I can clear everything from the website and start from the beginning).

So... I have checked the SQL database. The charset is UTF-8, the connection is utf8_general_ci.
For me it seems to be OK.
What should I do now? Please advise.
